How to Find Success for Your Film or Web Series: A Workshop

Do you come from a smaller place and have a great story to tell? Do you have an idea for a film or web series you want to get made and reach the world?

Annelise Larson, an experienced digital strategist and mentor for independent film and media in North America is coming to your home town. She will be teaching a FREE 3-hour workshop that will greatly help your film or web series be a success (and by success we mean getting money to make it and people to see it).

Over three hours Annelise will:

  • Provide case studies of films and web series that were made in small centres and reached a national or international audience, won awards and helped springboard the filmmakers to the next stages of their careers;

  • Outline a simple three-step process that will help you put together better funding applications, identify potential audiences, find and engage them online;

  • Give you applied exercises to help implement this process;

  • Provide feedback and answer questions about your ideas, funding applications and other burning questions about how to get your story made and generating revenue.
